La Sirena Japamex Loteria Card tee shirt with art by Pato Aguilar.

La sirena? A mermaid? Ningyo? A mashup of the Mexican loteria game, sometimes called Mexican bingo, or Chalupa and Utamaro style Japanese block printing of beautiful women.

A topless fish-person (mermaid, siren) has large red scales on their tail, with the human top resembling the Japanese block printing style of Utamaro, sits on a rectangle background of bright blue. A white number 6 sits in the top left corner and near by the tail it says in white text “la sirena” - the English translation would be ‘the mermaid’ and is styled after the Mexican game of bingo, Loteria. The rectangle is surrounded by a band of white. Japamex, Japanese and Mexican hybrid fusion art. Drawn by Pato Aguilar.
